Setting a Precedent for For-Profit Companies
Social Enterprise is the future of business. Like all businesses, we exist to grow and create income for our time, but that's just one part of why we do what we do. The true "unlock" to any community initiative is support from parters that care more about changing lives than the bottom line. That's what we set out to do in our Community Partnership with Wings of Hope (WOH).
Wings of a Feather
Flock Together
When we originally set out to join forces with a local non-profit, we had no idea where to start. It was only by chance that Rob, our Founding Partner, stumbled upon Bret Heinrich, Wings of Hope's President, while networking on LinkedIn.
Bret then invited Rob out to visit the WOH hanger and quickly connected him Director of Programs and Evaluation at Wings of Hope, Tiffany Nelson. From there, we went to work, diving into whatever we could to help this amazing organization.
Our Efforts:
Initiative 1: Amplifying Current Programs
We started our relationship with WOH by collaborating with their active Young Ambassador's Program and connecting their team with one an intern in our own (now-paused) Ambassador Program. Due to COVID-19, we had to end our collaboration and intern project with Parkway Spark! (the entreprenuership program at Parkway Central High School), so we doubled down our efforts with the Director of Programs.

Initiative 2: Social Media & UI/UX Website Consulting
Our goal at this stage of our relationship with Tiffany was to refine and grow their online presence. We first started with optimizing WOH's marketing funnel and Content Marketing Strategy. This lead to analyzing their website and brainstorming what we could do to remove friction from their audience's experience. They've since started a rebranding committee that will take our recommendations forward to the rest of the organization.
Initiative 3: COVID-19 Friendly Fundraising Event
Wings of Hope's Taste of Hope event is traditionally an all-day community event inside WOH's Hanger at their headquarters in Chesterfield, Missouri. Since the pandemic, we were apart of Wings of Hope's efforts to innovate around their beloved fundraising event. Their new "Drive-Thru" format was a massive hit. In addition to an honorary sponsorship because of our partnership, we also helped develop strategies to promote the event, which included a Facebook Live content strategy. Our combined efforts with the Wings of Hope team lead completely selling out of all of the event's donated food.
Why We Believe In
Wings of Hope
Wings of Hope is not an "ordinary" non-profit. Every day, they work to save and change lives across the world. In the U.S. they transport patients to medical centers across the country. While their efforts in their Global Programs they bring medical support and personnel to communities in need worldwide.
We Will Transform The World Together
We firmly believe in making altruistic inroads for the communities and organizations that are truly changing the world. Our investment in the Wings of Hope community reflects only a portion of our dedication to the philosophy of Social Enterprise and Servant Leadership. We hope that this gives you a passing glance into The Triangle Company's soul.
